Doreen holds an Honorable Diploma in Psychology/Social Work, academically; where she then volunteered her time to child welfare and to family counselling. She also worked with abused seniors. Prior to her diploma, she endured many years of workplace abuse. She is the author of Self-Awareness Journal On CD-ROM, an inspirational multi-purpose journal, which is a desktop application designed to guide you onto the path of self awareness (becoming aware), self discovery (recognize and understand), and ultimately self empowerment (creating).

Join her as she continues to collect signatures for the petition to the Alberta Legislative Assembly, to prohibit emotional bullying and psychological harassment in the workplace.

Her article on bullying has been published in the Sept./Oct. 2008 issue of 'Rising Women' magazine. During "Bully Awareness Week" in November 2008, Doreen has been interviewed by CBC Radio, Calgary; the Lloyminster Meridian Booster; the Whitecourt Star; the Edson Leader; and, by the Leduc Representative in December 2008.
